Our guide aims to cover all aspects of the new television series Caprica, the prequel to Battlestar Galactica, which is set some 50+ years prior to the BSG series. In depth discussion of the people on screen as well as those behind the scenes, plus insights and gossip into what may happen next, will be included.
The Caprica TV show is centered on the lives of the Adams (Adama) and Graystone families, and will provide the backdrop storyline for how the Cylons were created by those on Caprica (part of the 12 Colonies of Kobol) as well as the eventual war which broke out between the humans and Cylons.
Created by Remi Aubuchon with the help of BSG producers David Eick and Ronald D. Moore, Caprica will be more of a sci-fi family drama than BSG which was a space shooter. Whether or not Dallas meets Battlestar Galactica will prove to be a success is anyone's guess, and we will have to wait until 2010 for the regular series season to officially begin. Until that time, there is only the DVD pilot double episode, scheduled for shipment on April 21, 2009 to United States residents.
